The half skirt plate is a very rigid design, providing convenient barcoding areas and automation compatibility. Ultra-flat surfaces, large sidewall area, and rigidity optimize this plate for consistent automated handling with most robotic systems. Plate is easily oriented with corner notch and molded in alpha-numeric. Its ANSI/SLAS 1-2004 compliant footprint ensures that it will fit all standard fixtures, stackers, and other SBS compliant equipment.
Plates are manufactured of low extractable, optically clear, virgin, medical grade polypropylene specifically for the rigorous demands of the research laboratory. Uniformly thin-walls promote rapid even thermal transfer for consistent amplification and increased recovery rate.
Raised rims on each well help protect from cross contamination, minimize sample loss during storage, and make for enhanced sealing with adhesive films, silicone mats, or heat-sealing films.
